I’m an Asian guy and I know that Asians have a bad rap in the dating world. Just check out what these recent studies have shown:

The biggest problem Asian guys face is their inner demons. It’s their perceived notion of their inferiority in the dating scene. Is it that bad though? It depends who you ask.

A San Jose State University assistant professor says there is a sense of Asian American male frustration as Asian American women continue to out marry at higher rates than Asian American men, and media bombards society with images of Asian men as either “stern and misogynist” or “effeminate and nerdy”.

So what can an Asian guy do to change his luck with women?

Admitting that it’s all in your head first is probably the best place to start. Then you need to unlearn all of your bad habits and integrate some new ones. The journey will be tough but certainly attainable. How do I know? Because I’ve seen it many times and because I’ve been in your shoes.

Second is to stop whining about things like racism, how stereotypes are holding you back, how that white woman is out of your league, how you’ll talk to that girl at another time, how you’re short, how you’re ugly, how bad your accent is. There is no room for negative talk. Being good with women starts with an inner unstoppable self-confidence.

Third is that you need to learn and practice. I’m not touting any pickup artist bootcamp or book. But you need to buy a book or even better, take a bootcamp and then practice, practice, practice. Most people agree that if you’re starting from ground zero, becoming good with women will take a couple of years.

4. Find your mission in life: This might sound a little lame, but knowing exactly what you want in life and going after it with passion will make you an attractive man. Experience new adventures, travel, run a marathon, start a business, and meet new people. If not, you will be stuck with just being “content” with what you have.

Sure, and I’ll keep it simple. Just ask any woman you come across how her day was. Yea, that’s it. But I bet you there are a lot of you who can’t even do that! And that’s the problem. 1. Skills to date outside of their race – This is what brought most of you to this article – And THIS is what it’s all about. Asians sometimes tend to stick to their own and this is a big problem. Getting socially calibrated is a skill that can be learned, but takes time and work. Always be socializing.

3. What stereotypes? – The media has not portrayed us in a negative way, perpetuating stereotypes of Math nerds and Kung-Fu fighters. You know who is portraying Asians in a negative manner?  Look in the mirror, buddy. Asian alphas have absolutely zero self-pity. Their world is their oyster. Does racism exist? Sure it does. But this game is about pure optimistic offense and it’s one of the most important skills you must obtain.

4. Living an absolute fun and interesting life – Unless you volunteered for a year in a developing country helping the sick, medical school is not for you. This is just one example of following the “asian life path”. Travel the world and learn fun and interesting things. Run a marathon or take a bartending class. Take risks and meet new people. You get it? Nowadays, it’s not about money. It’s about FINDING what you want in life and how you can obtain it.

5. Staying close to their roots – “He’s white washed” or “He’s a sellout”…I’m sure you’ve heard that before. And harboring jealousy and negativity makes you even more beta. But these statements are far from the truth. Asian men who are living “the life” are very close to their asian heritage. So what if they don’t know the difference between authentic asian food and Panda Express? Why do you care? You should be working on yourself…not anyone else.
